Travelling with my girlfriends is so different from travelling with my boyfriend. I went to Cabo a week ago and it was such an incredible and relaxing time on the beach. I did not compare myself to other women this time because I was travelling with my buddies and I was not looking for admiration from other men which I have done in the past. I totally chilled from any external BS and I had a great vacation just being myself. When I have travelled with a partner in the past I was very insecure about the perfect bodies on the beach and I was constantly gauging other women and monitored how my partner was looking at them. It was a constant battle that I always lost because I was comparing myself to women that was better looking than myself. I think all of this stems from the beginning of times where women had to hold on to their men out of survival and I saw women being very protective of their men if a beautiful woman was within their gaze. I could totally relate and I think it is an old instinctual pattern we are doing and of coarse men can't help themselves starring but they have more tact these days lol. I love observing human behaviour and we all pretty much display the same behaviour around certain situations. Life is a beach :D.
