I am obsessed with real estate and baking shows. I love speculating about properties and seeing people baking delicious and outstanding baked goods! I have had some great experience in buying properties and some failures too and I learned a lot from my mistakes...
My true passion is to help people find purpose and satisfaction in life, which is why my role as a career coach fits so well. I love to see people start shedding unnecessary garbage from their energy field and start striving to find inner peace. I would call myself an inner peace coach if it didn't sound so corny? I have worked very hard for over 20 years to find my inner peace and I want to pay my insights forward to others but in a shorter amount of time. I know what worked for me and I want to show others how they can do the same thing! But, let's talk about finding a career that will fill you up and make you feel that you are contributing to something bigger than yourself because that is where you can find happiness!
I have been working in the vocational/employment profession for over 10 years and facilitated groups for over 20 years. I love my job as a career coach as I am able to help others find a job that they are actually satisfied with and I have helped 100's of people finding work. Finding your purpose is the best ingredient for a happy life but you have to take action steps to get there and that is where I come in and guide you. We start with various tools where you will explore different career options based on your unique skills and personality. The more specific you answer the career assessments the better results and you may be surprised how many jobs you will resonate with. We will do some mind mapping with the different occupational goals so we can find the 'juicy' jobs that will make you excited to explore! After that we will create a specific action plan how to get to the job you desire including training options, informational interviews, seeing the advisor at the college/university to collect relevant information, application process and requirements, upgrading if necessary etc. After all of this has been gathered you will decide if this is what you want to do and then we will implement this plan. After the training is completed, we can do a job search action plan to get you the job you want as soon as possible.
Nature has always been my go to place when I am feeling down or when I am in need of some healing. Filling up my cup kind of a thing. It gives me an instant feeling of gratitude. Pics from last weekend.
Did you know that faith is an action and not a concept, therefore, act as if what you want will show up in your life. And what you want will match your frequency. Is your vibration active, up to date and clear? If not, then you need to do some aura and chakra clearing. You will get what you are vibrating...
One of the best ways to be is being authentic, it saves time because people know where you stand and they know that you are not fake. After spending time with authentic people you know that they will not back stab you as soon as you leave them because you know that if they had a problem with you they would tell you.. to your face! As a result It is very easy to spend time with an authentic person. Being authentic means coming from a real place within. It means that you are being yourself and not trying to be somebody else. It is when your actions and words are congruent with your beliefs and values. So with your flaws and all, being authentic and ok with who you are is the best relationship builder there is. No more excuses for being you! <3
So I am on day 3 of the celery juice morning ritual. I think my skin looks soooo much better but maybe I did not eat as much chocolate as I usually do. One thing leads to another and when you are on a health kick you make a better choice on what to put inside your body. It is not hard to figure out that you want to be successful when you follow or incorporate a new routine. And it is so much easier to choose the 'right' way of eating in the beginning but after a week or two you may get tired and go back to the same old ways. That's life my friends...to do or not to do, to retreat back to old ways or not. Make the new routine stick and try to make it sustainable to your needs.
I went to the gym after work but I was set to go at lunchtime but it didn't work out. I have gone to the gym in the morning, lunch and after work and I prefer lunch time. I feel the lunch people are really going for the exercise and not for chatting and wasting time. When I went after work I felt that the 'beautiful' people were there standing around flexing (I judged!), looking amazing and I felt a little intimidated to be honest. I was bloated, greys were showing in my roots, no makeup and over all not good looking. As I was driving home I decided to go back and workout during lunch but later on I thought why not stick to after work. Why cave into something that makes me uncomfortable? If I want to stretch myself I have to deal with being uncomfortable. I recognized that 'uncomfortable' energy from the time I was modelling and how everyone were so beautiful and we were all comparing ourselves to each other. While doing some internal check in and some thinking I was able to turn around my negative thoughts and use it as a fire to get back in shape. I am familiar with competitive looks, comparing myself and not feeling good enough but I will use this energy to get better and not shy away from it. I will use this energy which will light a fire under my ass :D and use it for my benefit. #chooseoutsidemycomfortzone
We all know when we see a 'weak' link in human behaviour. Do what you can to help that person change, build their self-esteem by sharing resources, empower their positive behaviour and be there as support even if they don't ask for it. I can see many youth benefiting from caring adults today and in the future especially when social media promotes instant gratification and unreachable life goals. I recently heard that being popular and being liked is the same as having super power and many people would do anything to feel special. A lot of youth do not feel that they are popular or even liked and as a result they isolate by playing video games etc. Being present and taking the time to check in with a young person will show that you care about them.
Yes, I bought into the hype and I will try celery juice every morning for a week! I will keep you posted about its impact, if any, and see if I have more energy in the morning. I try to juice every summer because it makes me less sluggish and I love all kinds of healthy juices so why not try celery to see what the hype is all about :P. Just got back from the gym and here we go! Lots of celery and I snuck in a cucumber as well. It tastes really good and the juice feels very healthy but I miss some ginger so I may get some to add some spice. I did not know that celery had so many health benefits such as helping with constipation issues, regulate PH balance in the body, help treat urinary tract infections, help you with your sleep!, and is abundant in Vitamin A are just a few of the benefits I read.
It was very easy to drink and I want another one! I will make another batch for tomorrow morning. Creating a new routine in the morning can be enough to feel energized and you may think you have found more energy doing the celery juice in the morning but maybe you just needed to incorporate a new routine.
I have always believed in my social skills when I was younger. I knew I could make friends quickly and I was not totally stupid so I relied on these two traits when I moved to Canada from Sweden. And my life in Canada was so different from Sweden but I think I had to experience that in order to become the person I am today. I am a very curious person and I love to investigate human behaviour and their characteristics so living in a different country and in a smaller town fulfilled my curiosity on many levels. I started as an international student at Malaspina University and then explored art which I have never done before. I was a bookkeeper in Sweden, very left brain dealing with numbers and now I studied art, graphic design, painting, and my favourite subject was Art history. This book has been with me for over 20 years and will be with me when I am 90 years old but will probably need assistance lifting this heavy weight of a book :O!!
Some books really put me in a magical frame of mind and this one shows me how limitless we are with unlimited possibilities. Were we actually able to sculpt at that level at that time? What was their inspiration? The dedication and passion they had when doing these masterpieces were astounding. Find something that makes you feel magical and bring it out and connect with that energy. It is a pretty sweet feeling if you have the time to relate to something that is important to you.
